SHO Member Hospitals Earn Recognition on Forbes’ Top Hospitals by State List

Six SHO member hospitals have been recognized on the inaugural Forbes Top Hospitals by State 2026 list, highlighting their commitment to delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences. Hendricks Regional Health, Major Health Partners, and Schneck Medical Center were among the Indiana hospitals earning Forbes’ highest overall five-star quality rating. Johnson Memorial Health, Marion Health, and Witham Health Services also made the list achieving four-star quality ratings.

The Forbes rankings are based on publicly available data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and evaluate hospitals across four key areas: patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience. Forbes awarded five-star ratings to 259 hospitals nationwide, recognizing organizations that demonstrate excellence in healthcare quality and performance.
