Healthgrades 2020 Outstanding Patient Experience Award
Hendricks Regional Health and Henry Community Health were recognized for their outstanding performance in delivering a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay. Healthgrades evaluates patient experience performance by applying a scoring methodology to 10 patient experience measures, using data collected from the 29-question survey of the hospital’s own patients.

2020 Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals
Both Major Health Partners and Marion General Hospital were named 2020 Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This award is based upon the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX® from iVantage Health Analytics. Hospitals recognized as a Top 100 facility scored in the top 100 among all rural and community hospitals nationally. Now in its ninth year, the INDEX leverages 50 rural-relevant indicators across eight pillars of hospital strength (i.e. Inpatient Market Share, Outpatient Market Chare, Cost, Charge, Quality, Outcomes, Patient Perspective and Financial Stability) to determine an overall score for each hospital.

Hendricks Regional Health, Johnson Memorial Health, and Witham Health Services received an A letter grade from Leapfrog for hospital safety. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a public service provided by The Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety, and transparency in the U.S. health system.

Top Five Hospital Administrators During COVID-19
Mr. Steve Long, CEO of Hancock Health, was honored as one of the Top Five Hospital Administrators During COVID-19 by LinkedIn. He was recognized for providing real-time updates to the community regarding the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic and the hospital’s preparedness, as well as a physician-friendly attitude and an “all problems have a solution” mentality, among other accomplishments.
