As SHO’s Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator, Mary’s key responsibilities include:

• Working directly with our hospital contacts to verify that the credentials of health care professionals employed by the hospitals are in compliance with state and federal standards.
• Processing re-credentialing paperwork and maintaining a database using Cactus credentialing software of practitioners’ training, education, licensing, and experience information
• Responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the Medical Staff Services for our SHO hospitals according to our Credentialing Verification Agreement.
• Working with Hospitals to develop process and workflow for on-going work and delivery of documents in timeframe of the SHO Hospital Medical Staff Executive Committees.
