In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wilson has the ultimate management responsibility for SHO’s resources and all other aspects of the business, including:

  • Strategic Planning and Visioning
  • Finance
  • Operations
  • Business Development and Marketing
  • Product and Service Development
  • Clinical Integration
  • Population Health
  • Human Resources
  • Governance

In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Wilson directs a variety of Managed Care services provided for the SHO hospitals and their employed physician practices, including value-based contracting, messenger model contracting, and network management. He oversees all clinical resources and coordinates clinical alignment initiatives among the SHO hospitals including the Suburban Care Collaborative Clinically Integrated Network.

Dr. Wilson leads the CEO Roundtable, CMO Roundtable, Physician Advisory Committee, Primary Care Council, Tertiary Affiliate Council, and Population Health Board, among other Affinity Groups.

He is also a member of SHO’s Strategic Council and Physician Recruitment Team and actively participates with the Risk Retention Group.
