In his role as President, Dave has the ultimate management responsibility for SHO’s resources and all other aspects of the business, including:

• Strategic Planning and Visioning
• Finance
• Operations
• Business Development and Marketing
• Product and Service Development
• Human Resources
• Governance

In addition to these responsibilities, Dave oversees a variety of Managed Care services provided for the SHO hospitals and their employed physician practices including value-based contracting, messenger model non-risk contracting, and network management.

Dave coordinates the CFO Council where top SHO hospital financial executives meet regularly to review results of SHO’s value-based contracts and other payor agreements. Dave also works closely with the CFO Council on expense reduction initiatives. Dave is a member of SHO’s Strategic Council, serves as SHO’s representative at the Employers Forum of Indiana and is a board member of the SRHO, National Association.
