SHO Physician Recruitment will attend the Indiana Society of Physician Recruiters (INSPR) Resident and Fellow Career Fair on 7.19.10. This is the sixth annual INSPR career fair and has been a very successful venue to introduce candidates to opportunities across the SHO network. This year the INSPR career fair is being conducted in partnership with The Indiana State Medical Association and CareerMD (a national online job database for physicians).
Louisville Resident and Fellow Career Fair
SHO Physician Recruitment will attend the Louisville Resident and Fellow Career Fair on 8.12.10. This is SHO's second year to attend. In 2009 SHO was able to make numerous connections from this event and had several active candidates as a result of attending. This career fair is conducted by Career MD.

Tom Farrington, Manager of Physician Recruitment, and Sandra Whisman, Senior Physician Recruitment Consultant, have been named Fellows of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR). Recruiter Mona Hansen is now an Associate of ASPR.
The ASPR Fellowship Program consists of three tracks which include Associate, Diplomate and Fellow. The goal of the program is to become the most comprehensive authoritative resource for individuals seeking to develop and test their skills and knowledge in the physician recruiting profession.
It encompasses knowledge and skills from many varied disciplines including medical practice management, human resources, law, marketing, and business.

- Matt Bobzien, MD joins Witham Health Services where he will practice Family Medicine. Dr. Bobzien is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- David Cheesman, MD has started as a Hospitalist at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. Dr. Cheesman is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Alina Dean, MD joins the St. Vincent Physician Network where she will practice Family Medicine. Dr. Dean is Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Lawrence Monger, MD joins the St. Vincent Physician Network. Dr. Monger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Michael Stewart, MD has started as an Emergency Room and Primary Care Physician at St. Vincent Williamsport. Dr. Stewart is Board Certified in General Surgery.
