Affinity Groups Facilitate Collaboration and Best Practice Sharing

There is a saying “No Man Is An Island”. At SHO we think this also applies to our owner hospitals and physicians who can best meet the health care needs of the communities they serve by coming together in Affinity Groups to:

Exchange ideas
Share best practices
Evaluate potential new services
Discuss and problem-solve core issues that are present in the service line area
Identify programs and services that improve quality, increase profitability, and/or decrease expenses to SHO hospitals
Create networking opportunities

Affinity Group Forum Brings Hospital Leaders Together

SHO hosted the first Affinity Group Forum on June 3rd. The purpose of this forum was to bring all Affinity Groups together for networking, collaboration, and to gain a better understanding of SHO. Affinity Groups include members from SHO hospitals and SHO staff. These groups meet on a regular basis to share best practices, evaluate new services, and improve quality.
